1kg “Rooster” Seed Potatoes
Known as the “butterless baker”, the solanum tuberosum “Vivaldi” potato is characterised by its creamy taste. These ovular potatoes have a yellow-brown skin with brown speckles on the surface and have few very, shallow eyes. The Vivaldi is a second early variety of potato that produces high yields of “baby potatoes”, but can be left in the ground for longer and treated as a maincrop for larger tubers. This versatile potato has a mouth-watering taste whether boiled, baked, mashed, or roasted. The plants grow to an average height and produce lots of white flowers. They have good resistance to common scab and are well suited to growing in containers or bags.
Planting Tip
- If space is limited, try growing in potato bags on the patio.
